Why to choose this tour?

This tour is not only for history lovers.

The program includes a visit to the state Museum and National Park  “Issyk” in the open air. You will see ancient burial mounds (4-5 BC), as well as the Issyk mound, where the Saka warrior or Golden man, one of the symbols of Kazakhstan, was found.

We will finish the trail visiting the lake Issyk- a picturesque, high-altitude lake surrounded by extremely beautiful nature. The lake is located at an altitude of 1760 meters above sea level, about 70 km to the East from Almaty. This place is a historical gem. In 1963, a Nature disaster took many lives here. “Black dragon” a giant mudflow of rocks and mud, within four hours wiped the lake from the face of the earth.

Currently, the lake has been restored, but not completely –  about 2/3 of its former size. There is a monument in the form of a cross placed on the lake in memory of the victims.
